Forest Waterfall
$70.00 – $253.00
The mountains of southern Oregon have some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Pacific Northwest.
Tokete, Watson and Whitehorse Falls are examples which have inspired several designs in this series.
Hiking in these areas provides refuge from summer heat in the canyons carved out by rain and snow.
Cool mist and the sound of rushing water provide a serene environment where moss covered rocks and ferns grow in the shade of old growth forest.
Our sculptures are fused at 1,800 degrees with the same colors that define these areas during our Oregon summers.
By repeated heating, marvering and twisting of the fused colors, we transform molten glass into a waterfall cascade.
Random bubbles add to the realism by creating turbulence at the bottom as spring snow melt flows in enormous cascades down the cliff faces.
