I was first introduced to the art form by my illustrator daughter who was heavily influenced by the genre at an early age.

Aqua is a fantasy manga by Kozue Amano which takes place in Neo-Venezia, a city on Planet Aqua.

Aqua is Mars which has been terra-formed into an ocean planet.

In creating Neo-Venezia, the fictional locations were modeled on actual Venetian landmarks like the Piazza San Marco and the Bridge of Sighs.
