A golden/yellow fume is applied to an enormous gather of molten glass.

A second gather of near optical clear is applied providing a stand off for the black traces that define the piece while revealing the spacial qualities of the designs heavy lay up.

A final gather of clear is fumed with a mirror finish before being placed in the annealer where it spends the next 48 hours.

The front, back and top of the design are diamond sawed with angular precision being applied to the peak.

This matched peak treatment distinguishes the Cressida above the other designs in this series.

The sawed facets are polished to an optical finish to reveal the structure, dimension and hue of this exceptional blown glass sculpture.
