Amber, blue and white glass are applied to a gather of molten clear then fused in the furnace.

Colors are blended around the circumference of the design to produce the image of a swirling galaxy.

The exterior of the design receives a mirror finish produced by the application of a reduction flame which reacts with the blue.

Filled with water and illuminated by a submersible light emitting diode a Galaxy image is projected outside the vase onto the surrounding environment.
