The Beachcomber captures the essence of the tropical Seychelle islands.

Uninhabited throughout most of history, the earliest landing occurred in January 1609 by Britain’s East India Trading Company.

The islands had no indigenous population and became a fusion of African, Asian and European ancestry becoming a creole culture.

The Seychellois food, incorporates French, Chinese, Indian and African cuisines.

French and English are official languages with the islanders speaking Seychellois Creole.

The music is equally diverse with African rhythms, European folk, French pop Mauritian, Polynesian, Indian and Greek Arcadian.

For tropical beauty and diverse culture the Seychelles are hard to beat.
