A gather of molten glass is pulled from the crucible then fumed with cobalt using a proprietary technique that produces a flawless blue veil.

The process of gathering and fuming is repeated until a torch flame emerges of the desired proportions.

The blue veils are cased in a final gather of crystal clear glass and a silver mirror finish is applied before annealing for 48 hours.

When the design achieves room temperature it looks like a mirrored egg.

Using precision cutting, grinding and polishing, the torch flame that resides within the design is revealed.

The finished piece is a glass interpretation of a welders acetylene torch flame.
